The guy slipping on a banana peel developed as a result another artist throwing a banana peel on the floor as a joke. A woman freaked out and was convinced someone was going to slip on the peel. This was my representation of someone slipping on the peel, knocking into the slide projector, and having the slides go all over the place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I then had the ambitious idea to do a painting of this, and thought how wonderful it would be to represent all those slide in paint.  Eventually that idea became the painting, "The Myth of Flight".
